With a view to passing on knowledge and sharing technical know-how, Artifakt.io plans to offer training to students from various universities and colleges in Paris and neighbouring regions.
A first partnership with the Troyes University Institute of Technology
The first session will take place on Thursday 28 September 2017 in the Métiers de l’Internet et du Multimédia (MMI) department at the University Institute of Technology in Troyes (France). First and second year students of this technology based degree programme will be the ones involved, thus giving them the opportunity to discover the full extent of the cloud’s power, as well as all its complexity. This essentially means that these future graduates, when they enter the professional marketplace, will be ready to take on the various new roles that are now rapidly being established. Though businesses are interested in the cloud, there is very often a lack of skills and knowledge in this area among their various teams. These students will therefore be the solution to these obstacles.
A graduate of Troyes University Institute of Technology himself, Aymeric Aitamer, co-founder and CTO of Artifkat.io, is hoping to establish a partnership with the MMI programme. For him, the cloud is today an essential tool and will continue to be so in the future, with the challenges and stakes involved in its use constantly evolving. He therefore believes there is a need to ensure future IT specialists are properly prepared to meet and overcome these challenges.
Further training to come
This first training course at Troyes University Institute of Technology is only the start. Artifakt.io is also going to be providing training at coding school 42. Several sessions will then be offered at Artifakt.io’s offices in Paris.
The transmission of cloud-related knowledge is only just beginning. Stay tuned…
